Clay community rejoice! We are so excited to be partnering with Mammoth Clay Company to begin supplying you with their clay. We have a selection of mid-range clays from white to red to speckled brown and black!
Clay can be purchased through our online Shop page in 25lb, 50lb, 100lb, or 300lb quantities and picked up at the studio. We are transitioning our hours right now so please shoot us a message when you plan to pick up your order so we can make sure someone is here to assist you.
As our reputation builds for distribution we expect to expand the selection to include low and high fire bodies as well. Until then we’ll be collecting data and feedback on what you need most so we can provide it for you, but regardless we know you’ll love Mammoth!
Mammoth Clay
This clay captures the beauty of Monarch butterfly wings, with a rich, deep red body flecked with black speckles. Its medium groggy texture makes it perfect for handbuilding, while still setting up beautifully on the wheel.

Mammoth Clay
If you're aiming for a deep, luxurious shade of black, look no further than Mastodon. This clay fires to a striking black color in both reduction and oxidation atmospheres. It has fine grog and is manganese-free.
*For best results, fire this clay to cone 6 with a thirty minute hold, or fire to cone 7.

Mammoth Clay
This clay brings a warm, toasty brown finish that mimics the look of gas firing, even in an electric kiln. With a smooth texture and just the right amount of medium grog, it’s perfect for throwing and gives your pieces a warm, earthy character.

Mammoth Clay
This is a sculpture clay designed to withstand freeze/thaw conditions which makes it great for outdoor sculpture or tile. This clay is abundant with course grog to promote structural stability and firing strength. Bigfoot is excellent for coil and slab construction. It fires to a warm buff in oxidation and toasty red brown in reduction.

A Side has dropped and it’s the main feature! 📼
This clay is excellent for throwing with superior plasticity. A-Side features porcelaneous texture and great workability comparable to the best of stoneware. Oh and one last thing! It fires white in both reduction AND oxidation.
